Advances drawing

A melted glass sculpture that was once a priceless possession.
The texture smooth but dented even scratched.
Possibly a possession of a violent house hold.
A possession of destruction that burned the house hold along with itself.

I used a USB charging plug as my object and i expanded on the surrealism, simplicity and abstract forms of this. i found the surrealism form of this more interesting as i put more thought into this.

For this shoe i had another surrealism idea to make the shoe come to life adding eyes and the front of the shoe open out showing a tongue.

my surrealism idea for this inhaler was to add wings and a halo to it because people consider them to be life savers.

my attempts at the pittville pump rooms architecture, which wasn't one of my strong points. To improve this i could drew boxes first to get the dimensions right and expand on that because of my disproportionate and inaccurate drawing.

This is my line work using nothing but lines to try and create a field of depth with in these quick sketches. In my opinion is only partially affective but i would change this by not drawing the outline first of my sketches first.

drawing cars was slightly easier when drawing a box to get the dimensions right, however when drawing a car with a vanishing point a struggled slightly but corrected the mistakes.

using charcoal and ink to create shading in different ways, using lines and marks to make it look as accurate as i could and i found charcoal was much easier to work with than ink just because i could rub out the mistakes and create a depth to it.

previous occasions during life drawing i use to use charcoal which i found harder use because i didn't like how my work turned out. I then started using ball point pens when i found o help me increase the speed and accuracy of my drawing knowing i couldn't rub out my mistakes and i preferred the look of how it came out. I also found it easier to draw different posses because i wasn't focusing on the details but the overal shape and i think i have improved because of this.

I have expanded on this by using shapes and colour to create a form and body using my own proportions to make a character.

I used charcoal as a medium when drawing Bens face, at first i wasn't using the proper technique when drawing his face. This was because i started drawing the eyes and attempted to expand on that but found the proportions weren't accurate and the face was going to come out distorted.

Instead i started out with the overal shape of the face marking where the features would go and then added the detail in afterwards which was a lot easier and mor accurate when drawing this portrait.

I used the same technique when drawing a simplistic characterised version of bens face using shapes and exaggerated features but still being able to tell that its bens face.
